QiGong Level I

Qigong can be practiced in many forms for self healing. Learn about the origin and purpose of Qigong while discovering the primary energy pathways of your body. Each class will include demonstrations and practice of movements of the Three Rivers Form. Learn to feel energy and release tension.

Train in more direct ways of feeling, seeing and collecting universal Qi by exploring the 12 acupuncture pathways. Help heal yourself and others of common ailments using methods founded in the Small Universe and Large Universe practices. Learn to increase your sensitivity to Qigong.

QiGong Level III & IV Combined

Discover deeper meditation methods for self development and self-healing through the Eight Extra acupuncture pathways. Learn the Three Dan Tien form of Qigong, founded by Master Wan of China, to develop intuition, compassion, and vitality. Use all the teachings, methods, and techniques from previous classes to develop deeper abilities in meditation, visualization, and imagination to cultivate your power to assist in the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing of others. Learn the Buddhist Heart and Wisdom style of Master Miao Shen to cultivate virtue and wisdom.

Advanced QiGong Training Program

Teacher / Healer Certification

Prerequisite: completion of Basic QiGong Program. Schedule: 15 class meetings, one three-hour session per month, and a three-month internship Advanced training is for students who want to more deeply integrate QiGong into their lifestyles for self-development and self-healing, and who may also feel a strong desire to become a certified QiGong teacher and/or QiGong healer. Students must complete reading assignments, practice, and a three-month internship commensurate with or following the completion of the 15-month program. To gain certification, students must also pass standard proficiency tests as currently developed by Three Rivers Crossing. A certificate of completion as a QiGong Teacher / Healer will be awarded to each student who successfully completes the training and testing. A certificate of completion of Advanced Training will be awarded to those students who wish to complete the program without taking the proficiency tests.

Distance Learning

Independent Study - Accelerated Learning

As the world grows both larger and smaller, time, travel, and finances are limitless and limited to those interested and in the emerging field of QiGong. Independent study for local students and distance learning will be available beginning January 2000. In this changing world of technology distance education will provide many with the opportunity to learn, grow and experience the value of QiGong for their own self development, self improvement, self healing and spiritual development. At the same time for those interested in a career in the field of QiGong education an Qi emission the opportunity to become a certified QiGong Teacher-Healer will be made easier with the use of independent study and distance learning through home study correspondence workbooks, audio and video tapes and the use of online courses using CD-ROM's and other innovative learning methods For those QiGong students and other professionals including Acupuncturists, Chiropractic Physicians, Homeopaths, Massage Therapists, Medical and Osteopathic Physicians, Naturopathic Physicians, Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapists, Psychologists and others in the healing arts and sciences, month long residency and internship programs will be included in the advanced teacher-healer programs beginning in the fall of 2000. Along with his training in the fields of Alterative-Integrative Natural Medicine, Dr. DesMarais holds degrees in Education and Accelerated learning. The methods and training utilized Three Rivers, through distance learning during residencies and internships are all founded upon whole-brain learning to maximize training, and retention while assuring quality results in the application of both the information learned and the cognitive-energetic assimilation in the body, mind and spirit of the students.
